As stated at the outset, this Response is not an attempt to provide a capitalist Executive with a fig leaf to provide a rotten system with support through reform. Capitalism cannot be reformed. It must be destroyed. The Workers Party will not cease to take every opportunity to expose that reality. The way forward is clear. We do not stop at remedying some of the ills created by capitalism, but we aim to remove the ill that is capitalism. Carried forward by the strength and activity of the working class, we are certain that we will bring the new world, the socialist world, to fruition.
