Message of condolence from the Workers Party of Ireland to the Party of Labour of Austria (PdA) on the death of PdA chairman, comrade Tibor  Zenker (1976-2026)

Dear comrades,

The Workers Party of Ireland was deeply saddened to learn of the sudden and unexpected passing of comrade Tibor Zenker. The Central Executive Committee of the WPI sends its sincere condolences to his comrades, family and friends. His lifelong commitment to the interests of the working class and the struggle for socialism leaves a legacy that will continue to inspire his comrades far beyond Austria’s borders.

Comrade Tibor stood firm in his convictions and never wavered in his belief that a socialist-communist future is both necessary and possible. He made important contributions through his writings to the advancement of Marxism-Leninism. He was deeply involved in the international communist movement and made many valuable interventions, especially in the work of the European Communist Action (ECA). His contributions to the cause of socialist internationalism and his solidarity with the oppressed workers of Austria and the world will not be forgotten.

With comradely greetings,

Gerry Grainger
